» Poem: A beautiful day
A beautiful day
written by Trapezium
11:58 AM 2/16/05
A lake of clouds passed overhead,
And the sun displayed a ray of
Orange passion,
The green of the grass reflected the burning light,
And swayed to the whisper of the calming winds.

They say that beauty lay inside,
But what lay inside a sunset?

The tip of a giant candle stood
Beside the earth,
And all that was visible was the gentle flickering
Of the flame.
The candle burned a deeper shade of violet.
Eventually, the colour faded, and turned
To black.
