Surrender

I am yours,
Take me home,
I surrender my love,
I have nothing left,
Though I try to forget,
You are all I am,
I surrender my love.
I fall at your knees,
I beg for forgiveness,
I still love you,
I surrender my love,
I am broken and dead,
Lifeless without you,
Give me strength,
To fight and carry on.
My life.

My hope.
(Is for you)
My soul is no more.
My joy.
(Is defeated)
My smile.
(Died long ago)
My power.
(Is lifeless)
My love is for you.

I can’t cry anymore,
My tears have run dry,
My hopelessness,
Is all I am.
I am sorry, my love,
In all my truth,
I meant for you,
To care for me.
I don’t understand,
How you turn me down?
I can’t recognise,
The truth from the lies.
I no longer exist now,
I’ve given up,
I hope you sob,
Over my body.
My life.

When the night falls on me,

Barely conscious,

I won’t regain my strength,

This is not your fault,
I was cut too deep,
The scar remains,
Still it’s bleeding.
When you lied,
I cried,
I sacrificed myself,
So you understood.
