A God that is Yours
written by DarkeningBeauty06:59 PM 2/16/05A God that is Yours
Slender beams of radiance enter
this darkened chamber as I kneel,
always a slave, always in pain,
frozen here,
waiting.
Tortured forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
searing my exposed skin.
Terror on a child's face.
I raise my head, now embracing
this uncaring reality. |
