Blank
written by Bloodfilledcinnabuns09:44 PM 2/16/05They wanted to know.
They said she would be brave.
There's nothing left of her.
There's nothing left to say.
She was blank.
She was what they wanted to see.
She was a mystery.
Perfect from far away.
Now they clap out of sympathy
and turn away.
Curiously, they were
waiting for her,
waiting for their disapointment.
She shouldn't have spoken.
There's nothing left to know.
She's no longer hidden.
They thought there would be more.
She will end her speaking.
No longer a shy girl,
She is empty with nothing to say. |
