Sing Me A Song

take away everything i have to fear
end my pain and suffering so i can finally live
tell me i have something that is worth my time to give
sing me a song so i can feel secure
helping me through the pain i have endured
everything is so broken, not a family to love
not even a bright sky to look at high above
sing me a song that tells me I'm OK
i need some reassurance to make it through the day
i have no one to hold or to tell me it's alright
all i have is "god" and he's far out of sight |
