This Cage(comments plz)

Caught up in her misery
All she has left is the memory
Of the way things used to be
The feelings she has she can't deny
She leaves them all locked up inside
She can't give into them this time
She hasn't yet reached the end of the line
She doesn't know when it will end
The thoughts in her head she cannot bend
How long until her broken heart will mend?
And all she needed was a friend
She's been pushed down
To where she belongs; the ground
The friends she thought she had, they walk around
As they pass her, they only frown
They all want her to change
Like her personality is strange
But changing she cannot arrange
So she stays locked away inside this cage
She wants to resort to a knife
But she doesn't want to end her life
She only wants to feel alive
Why does she still strive? |
