» Poem: Ace of Hearts
Ace of Hearts
written by nicole_lyndon

Life is like a game of cards.
What you do not want... you simply discard.
You play out the clubs, diamonds and spades.
You don't like your hand so you simply trade.
You refuse to part with the Queen of Hearts.
She's where it ends .. and where it starts.
The Queen of Hearts has lost her place.
You deal the cards... she seeks the Ace.
You go through the deck..
you meet up with the king...
Be very cautious... it's a deadly sting.
Don't lose track of the One-eyed Jack.
He wants to replace the missing Ace.
You'll seek and defend...
until the search ends.
Because the loving starts...
with the Ace of Hearts.
