Dreamcatcher
written by nicole_lyndon11:31 AM 2/17/05Dreamcatcher, were you at the door
to keep a child's Chimera stored?
Easily came infinite dreams
to a wide-eyed child, it seemed.
Few, the thoughts of reality
intruding on pure naivete.
Possibilities, so limitless.
Proposed ambitions, endless.
Dreamcatcher, did you keep the dreams,
on many silver reams.
of papuros made of fairies' wings?
Bring forth those wondrous things!
Full of faith and brilliance . . .
Too few were those days of dalliance.
Please a quick look to see . . .
if a child's dreams were meant to be!
Dreamcatcher, show the myriad visions
kept forever in your web of illusions! |
