» Poem: Winter's heartbeat
Winter's heartbeat
written by Trapezium
07:33 PM 2/17/05
Your heartbeat shapes the moon,
And warms the gelid nights.
Evening tides stay by your side
And discant, a joyful tune.

But tears crawl down your face,
And melt your effete smile.
Every day - you fade away,
And come back, subtle grace.

The winter's light holds you.
It forms your crystal breath.
Far from home, never alone,
You're always carried through.
