» Poem: Friends First
Friends First
written by twistedmind33

If I said I hated you,
Would you believe me?
If so,
It’s far from the truth
If one day we had to part
A piece of me would go with you
We share something special
No one else can replace
We’ve had our tough times
But we always bounce back
I can’t see one day when we can’t speak
Even if the conversation is meaningless
We’ve made our plans
And we both know one won’t follow through
But at least we had the fun of planning it all
I know we must realize that one-day,
We’ll both find lovers
(You may have already)
But our friendship will always stay true
It’s just like you said
Friends first
