» Poem: Simply Insensitivity
Simply Insensitivity
written by Lady Deathstrike
08:28 AM 2/18/05
Teased, tauned, hated and shuned
Countless tears she cried
Maybe if I be real nice, they'll leave me alone
She thought to herself at night

Day by day the pain grew worse
Her heart could bare it no more
Venting her feelings in secrecy
Left scars sadly hidden from me

She told me I was an angel
Sent to her from God
She thanked me for being so kind
When others left her in the dark

I never knew how she felt
Until it was too late
But words have a way of numbing the mind
Now she's gone
Suicide
