» Poem: Turtle
Turtle
written by purpleppleater
10:07 AM 2/19/05
my eyes scan
when you may be near
i sit and plan
something you'd like to hear

i glance at you,
as you walk by my seat,
did you glance at me too,
i don't know i just stared at my feet.

i feel like a turtle,
whenever you look at me,
i hide in the shell,
that i have come to need,
to feel like i'm there,
i must disapear,
i pull the drapes of my hair,
there is one thing that i fear,
that you noticed me.
