» Poem: Winter In a Man's Heart
Winter In a Man's Heart
written by Blackhawk
06:51 PM 2/19/05
Cold and stolid.
Like that of a skull.
Emptiness and lonliness eat at it's hull.
Flakes fast falling.
Flakes of vindictive pain.
He wants to tear way with his disdain.
Snow as red as the tide.
Crashing and flashing his heart opens wide.
In pours his memories long lost and forlorn.
Not that of a man that had ever been born.
Winter pounding and slashing as rages the storm.
With lusts desire he pangs to conform.
He is lost to the malice.
Defeated before the start.
As rages the winter in a man's heart.
