» Poem: Till she Escaped
Till she Escaped
written by XsouredXfaithX

staring at herself in the mirror
wishing to be more thinner
grabbing what little flab is there
and gives herself a hating stare
skips yet another meal
even if hunger is what she feels
she hates the body she has been given
her hatred towards herself she has always hidden
she has always been told the bad things about herself
never the good about her came from their mouths
she tries to be perfect for them
destroying herself form within
she hasnt eaten for several days
and if she does, she gets rid of it in a different way
puking, laxatives, whatever it takes
she thinks she has to lose more weight
that she has to be perfect
even if she feels like shit
their words of expectations fill her mind
whenever she wants to eat, which is all the time
they never leave her head
forever there are the things they said
how shes not good enough and never will be
how she will never be what they want to see
14 yrs of scorn till she escaped still haunt her
from the people who werent proud of their own daughter
