» Poem: The Alleys .
The Alleys .
written by blackie-hawk

People on the streets,
Lights a candle,
Just to be,
Real

Ten thousand words,
They never could be,
Enough

Screaming fills the air,
In the alleys,
Just around here, where I stand

People on the streets,
Fight in a battle,
Just to be,
A hero

Ten thousand words,
They never could be,
Enough

Screaming fills the air,
In the alleys,
Just around here, where I am

Nothings gonna change it,
Nothings gonna make this real,
Anywhere

Ten thousand words,
They never could be,
Enough,
To find peace,
In the alleys,
Just around here, where I am

The time is ticking away,
People fight and die,
Just to be,
A memory,
Of a hero,
The same did I,
Back in the time,
That I was alive

Dead body’s everywhere,
In the alleys,
Just around here, there I lies.
