Life Goes On
written by nicole_lyndon10:48 AM 2/20/05I found your picture,
the one where you're smiling,
holding me up to the camera,
your eyes full of life,
happiness.
I remember your voice,
calling my name,
your arms reaching for me,
laughing as I ran to you,
contentment.
I touch your gravestone
and it kills me
the pain so intense
it fills my soul,
agony.
I enter the building
sit on a chair,
reach for the test
answer the questions,
Life goes on. |

Dude, just reading it makes me feel the pain. Harsh, and great at the same time. Your poetry spoke to me. Thanks for writting this. |
