My Only Regret(plz comment)

In the past in my life
I've stolen, lied, and cheated
I've tried to solve my problems with a knife
But not one of these things
Do I truly regret
For how do you live
If there are no mistakes to forget?
You were one of my best friends
Until we both made a mistake
We let a guy get in the way
Of a friendship that took so long to make
This guy wasn't even worth it
But we both competed with each other
We thought we were both in love with him
We just stopped thinking about one another
We said and did things
To hurt each other out of spite
We didn't know how bad it would end
When we got ourselves into this plight
Eventually, he chose me over you
And I did the same
I can't say all of this was my fault
In a way, we were both to blame
I've made a lot of mistakes
This is only true
But the only one I regret
Is losing you |

This is about losing one of my best friends because we both liked a guy and competed for him. That was back in october, and the guy and I are no longer together, but her and I still don't talk, and I miss her. Please comment and tell me what you think.

| i know exactly how you feel me and one of the best friends i've ever had did the same we've made up since but i read one of her poems yesterday that she wrote while i was with him and i never realised how much she hated me we've now gone back to not speaking! its hard when you fall out over a guy so i know how your feeling! anyway Great poem keep up the good work luv bex |
