I'm Too Afraid

In fear that that I may hurt someone.
I'm too afraid to dream,
In fear that my life will come undone.
I spend most of my life just wondering what's wrong,
And I cry late at night just to figure out what I've done.
And when I curl up and pray,
I just wish that I could live through the next day.
And maybe someone could take my worries away,
Just maybe someone could say it's okay,
But I'm too scared to tell my fears,
Because I might let someone near,
I'm too scared to be afraid,
Because it has let my trust fade. |
