Addicted

Spend every morning with my head in the sink
Every night I party, I get drunk
The rest of my life I’ve started to flunk
What started as a casual thing once a week?
Has now become a dependency that every night I seek
When I drink I feel invincible
Defeat seems inconceivable
I have endless courage
With the opposite sex I flourish
But then the next morning I can hardly see
My kidneys are hurting every time I pee
I miss work, and university
It doesn’t really even matter to me
Ringing a mate and going beer
I'm becoming addicted and that’s what I fear. |
