Broken Promises

and we didnt even stop to try,
try to burn the lies,
the times we cried
i promised to save u when u were falling,
we promised each other we'd keep calling,
you promised you'd love me forever,
this wont happen, not now, not ever
many things went wrong for us,
we even lost the will to trust,
but all of these were promises,
i thought we'd never break,
but now i see and know we have,
these are our broken promises |
