» Poem: A flame of black
A flame of black
written by devilchild01
01:52 PM 2/21/05
A flame that burnt from such intensity
has been put out by instability.
Mirror mirror what is this that I see...
can it be a glimpse of what I used to be.
A lonely child without a friend.
A girl dressed in black with a veil to hide the truth
I have to decide my new destiny,
how will I live my life differently.
No longer will I show sympathy to those who I loved.
Mirror mirror you have shown me such honesty,
and for that alone, I will make you free once again.
Behind the glass, in loving memory,
is where you once stood but now stands a silent me.
