» Poem: Sanctuary
Sanctuary
written by Psycho_Penguin

These hallowed halls.
Are my final refuge.
Where I go to hide,
From it all.
Inside no one, nothing, can harm me.
I am safe.
Protected.
Where I am free.
To let my emotions go.
And to break down.
Solitude.
My inner sanctum.
I carry it with me at all times.
So it's always near.
So I can again escape.
Inside.
The depths of my mind.
