the sadness prevails

late night dark thoughts begin
waiting by the phone but no one is calling
no one will notice if i dissappear, no one will care if i go into thin air
trying to escape my own faults but no one will notice
i am tortured on the inside by regrets and chances i never took
sleeping is my savior at night when all thoughts are gone and just the sadness prevails
Wake up the next morning and realize its a brand new day, a day to succed or a day to fail, a day that i hope is good and my sadness dosn't prevail |
