tonight my dreams were broken
written by devilchild0110:12 AM 2/22/05| Tonight I felt my heart break. It’s true what people say “ there is no pain greater then heartbreak”. A storm burst through my body removing every trace of love there ever was within my soul. Everything you promised to give me has fallen through. The protection from HIM you said was mine has been pulled from my grasp before I could tighten my grip. The home you said was mine has been knocked down. No longer do I smell the smell of freshly cooked cakes. I can’t hear the sound of a family going about its daily life. I stand trapped in a bubble, only being able to watch someone else live the life that was promised to me by the one I only ever loved. Tonight I felt my heart break. |
