» Poem: If I Could Do Anything
If I Could Do Anything
written by DaMaGeD

I'm standing here like a scare-crow,
My hair all over my face,
Mascara streaks, on red cheeks,
I am such a mess,
If i could do anything,
I wouldnt stand and cry,
If i could do anything,
To let out what's inside,
I need to scream so loud,
The world falls to it's knees,
Falls down into the ground,
Falls down just like me,
If i could do anything,
I'd know just what to say,
I'd know how to make them stop,
How to make them stay,
But instead i just stand here,
And stare through knotted hair,
At the shaking wreck in my mirror,
But it's not me, i'm not there,
I know i cant do anything,
I cant even try,
I'm a little mouse, in this empty house,
So i'll wait for these tears to dry,
If only i could make a difference,
If only i could do something,
If only i had a superman,
To stop tomorrow coming.
