one prayer(comments please)

the one i made
way back in the day
when we were best friends
i asked the lord
if it be the one prayer he ever answerd
for this to be it
i said to him
please lord
i love my best friend
hes evrything i ever wanted
he likes me for me
and expects nothng less
and i want to be with him until the end
i just wish i could tell him
or make him see
that hes the one for me
but that day i tell him
i know itll never come
my friends say
"o its just a lil crush"
"so stop acting so glum"
but i know one day
ill still love him
an i know one day
itll be too late
but maybe
just maybe
that one prayer
i made way back when
will be answered
an ill be able
to tell my best friend
that i love him..... |

| hey I know exactly what your saying , Im truely deeply in love with my friend he knows but he says that it will mess our friendship up but not being together will too , cuz the only way not to feel the way i do is not to be around him "out of sight out of mind" well thats easier said than done but it dosen't matter now because he has a Girlfriend and i will just have to live wit it, so this peom hits close to home and its really good! keep it up |
