» Poem: Daughters of the Moon
Daughters of the Moon
written by breakmyheart
05:49 PM 2/23/05
It a crazy thing
We'd do anything to protect
Our life and love
And the dreamland
Of keeping the moon
in our back pocket

These white blooms
Guns with 6 bullets
While mothers are busy
telling their daughters
that they are the queens of everything
It builds false hope
Of being kissed by an angel

There are painters
who put their children
on canvases
stripped of their clothes and dignity
So many twisted things
That no one knows about

What secrets we keep behind closed doors...
