Summit
written by lone-poet07:19 PM 2/23/05There is no top an eye can see
There is no top a man can be
Forever climbing never rest
Forever trying to be the best
You speak of the ladder of wealth
Yet afraid to climb
We are tied to this ground
Where logic cannot be found
If you want to be top
You want to be the best
Don’t stop for rest
Forever climb
One day you’re going hit the top
When your there just stop
Feel the air the breeze
Its fair game
No sin of money or fame
It was a time to look and care
It was a time to sit and stare
But the ladders grown
You’re not alone
People jumping for your throne
Climb fast climb high
Don’t let them
Pass you by
Climb higher still
Lack off air makes you ill
Climb high be bold
Let infinity take hold |
