Love within the Dark
written by Misery08:32 PM 2/23/05In the darkness I dance, alone in the cold. Moving for his eyes, and his eyes only. His soul is restless like mine, he's always there watching me from afar. But still I feel alone, alone with the darkness and the moonlight sky. He's always searching, seeking, learning, and I still stay the same. I spin to the gypsy melodie, with the memories of old evils. Lustful, and desirable a siren of the Gods. I move gracefuly luring him to show himself. And as he does in a shimmer of a second he wraps his cold strong arms about me. He kisses my lips, and whispers in my ears pure words of love. But in his eyes he is far from me, his words less than lies. My grace, my lust, my love is nothing, for what he wants isn't me. Everyday that fact, every night those thoughts I try to escape. And no longer believe. But he won't convince me any other way, for I am his Goddess, His Love, his Desire. But never will I be his cause that he yearns. |
