Until You Are At My Side

In the winters chill.
Searching for the
Warmth & strength
That only you can bring me.
Night after night,
The numbness returns.
Never being able to
Warm myself again.
I feel like I am in a morgue.
The coldness stays
And won't go away.
Nothing can warm me,
No clothes,
Blankets,or heat.
I sometimes I still just
Want to breakdown in tears.
My emotions sometimes feeling
Like the oceans swallowing waves.
I am so far from being all right,
That sometimes I still wonder how
I will ever make it on my own again.
I want to be strong.
I want to be warm.
But as soon as I am alone
especially at night,
I feel just as cold as ever
and witout your tenderness.
I feel like my heart has
been frozen in time forever.
My spirit of life as well calls out,
but it too is breathless,
Cold without life.
I seek so badly the one
thing that brings me life,
Your strength,and Passion.
That will always continue
To be with me my love.
You who never gave up hope on me,
I Cherish Your love always and forever.
I await the time soon when your
Heart will once again warm my soul.
Only you can do so.
As always hear my words every night
For until you are at my side my love
