» Poem: Demons Have Won Again
Demons Have Won Again
written by tWiZtIdWiNgZ

I walk down the halls of illusion,
Filled with mind battering confusion.
Where do I go from here?
I see the red eyes peer,
From behind the glass walls.
The ones who never made it through,
One day this could be me and you.

Each step witholds more and more,
Each blink I see more pain pour,
From the eyes of the dead,
Moaning and clenching their heads.
What I dont understand,
Is what they did to get where they are.

I wake up from this coma,
Lying blank and alone,
I just want to go home.
I've seen my life flash by,
I continue to wonder why-
Why me?

Their hands pound my insides,
There's no where to hide.
I've done my horrible deeds,
I'm slowly fulfilling their needs.
I get tense, swallow my pride,
I close my eyes, ready to die.

Heaven sighs,
We've lost another one.
The demons have won...
