Atonement(plz comment)

Cast them into the sea.
I’ll take the things that have happened to you
And I will hold you till it’s through
All this pain you’ve felt inside
Put it all on me till the day you die
Understand me, this unfinished tone
It’s ringing in my ears, and becomes my own song
I can feel the wind, It’s blowing against my face
Then the rain soaks it through and washes it away
I have scars and I have marks
covering this broken heart
They eat away, cause great pains
And do nothing and make a change
This is why I’ve done you wrong
But sad excuses can’t get me far
I’ll Find atonement and find relief
And take these burdens away from me
And I have done nothing, to show that I’ve tried
To trust in you and listen to what you hide
I just want to know, the way that you feel
So I can know if this effort is real
What goes on behind those eyes
That I am searching so hard to find
The thoughts and feelings that you have
I guess this makes me feel this sad
Look at the way that we have grown
I guess that’s why I feel so alone
Understand me, this unfinished tone
