This shadow appeared again,
This sad sight appeared again;
A black church with broken towers,
Ruined by dreams,
Destroyed by wars
Of the mortal survivors.
This darkened structure
Took again my breath away...
Like a hopeless rapture
I've found it again.
What are we?
What were we thinking we are?
What do we take part of?
A circle endless in colors,
A reflection endless in images,
A memory endless with sorrow...
No grave to burry in,
No resting place to deliver them
Far above to Heaven.
My angel wore torn veils,
My angel's wings were broken,
My angel's heart remained frozen.
Life's bitter,death seems sweet,
A blessed world with nothing to care for;
Yet I drew my hands back,
I turned my face away,
This is not our fate,
Not our destiny,not our myth-
It's an offer from the wicked,
We dare not enter it.
No,thy visions are wrong,
Those images seem to mock
What we stand for.
Alas,you do not understand,
You cannot expect
This simple truth,the answer...
The doors creaked here and there,
The windows were broken and hollow,
All was silent,all was night.

Suddenly,a bell rang in the distance,
Chasing away the devils of this mirage,
Clearing the fields,hills,and our worlds.
In the waters of this mausoleum,
Stood the Lone One,
Wounded,covered
And waiting for the Voice. |
