» Poem: For Achilles
For Achilles

Great dancer of swords and lances
Let your name be blessed
By giving us our chances
To fight further.
You,who's not afraid of the shadows,
The Night,
Nor of the demons that lurk inside.
You've seen enough;corpses filled with maggots,
Battlefields sanctified by blood.
We call unto you,
Lead our fight.

With Nike on your right,
And Hades on your left,
You were blessed
With the immortal name.
The waters happily poured,
The Lady of the Seas shall be proud;
Let thy mother's name be blessed.
No other can be like you,
No other shall have a will like yours,
No other's glory shall be higher then yours,
Amongst the mortals.

The ground shaked under your feet,
The Troyans trembled by your presence;
You mighty warrior,
Noble to your kin,knower of fate,
Seer of hidden knowledge-
Allow us to fight for you,
Allow us to ride in battle besides you.

Great Lord of battlefields,
Your name shall never be forgotten.
Every mortal,every nation will respect
What you had achieved.
The waters will carry the story of your life all around the world,
Your great victory-
Alas,the price was high for it;
Accepting the dark realms of the Underworld,
Entering in it.

As you walked on the land of the dead,
Even the mighty Cerberus leaned back,
Your soul's presence frightened the others,
Many hid themselves,many kneeled before you.
Oh,Great Lord of wars;
Here you will take your place
Until the day of resurrection shall come,
Then you'll be back again.
A man,half mortal,half god
Willing to fight without surrendering.

Many took example of your great prominent person;
You,diamond between gems,
You,victorious between troops,
You,lion between men.
May your name be blessed,
And may the Moira gift you
With Eternity.
