mixed pain

like a pond of tears i am sad
but saddness is my happy
and happieness is my sad
like a blade to my skin i am free from pain
like a rope to my neck i am gone
but why would you care
you told me it was ok
a cut was made over another wound
when you saw you did not care
i cried to a friend because i cannot last
you do not care
is this my answer? to die for you
to make you happy so that i am sad
so i will go
a river of blood has flown from my wound
a pond of tears is in my room
you dont care
so i am gone |

hi im alyssa and im 14. this poem was actually the first one i ever wrote. its not very good but i wanted to shair this with you. it explain alittle bit about my emotions. i live a life of pain. i am always in pain. i cry and i cut. im not proud but i do. i wrote this poem when when my grandmother told me that i should kill myself. it would be one less problem for her. well thats it. oh yah i know the title sucks but um i was stuggling with it.

| Your gradmother told you to kill yourself? omg...that's not good...at all ...I'd stop talking to her if I possibly could. Very good poem. it shows a lot of emotioins...I like it.
