the search

cycle the thoughts and move back to one
though fun it was just lasted a lifetime
to get up and just climb, this ladder, to who?
between the goodbye's and i love you's
what is truely unsaid, i'll miss the time w/out you
trying to get away from the game
temptation gleams true, i'm back in it once again
my blood-stained sleeve will no longer carry some's deepest desire
my eyes are open this time to avoid those putrid words
hung so divine, i look in disgust, turn 'round, leave past behind
is it such a crime to want truth? loyalty? faith?
and above all, to feel the sensation of time over time
one foot in front of the other, the healing process?
how can one deny such a life? i'll live in the now
tomorrow's i-do's and yesterday's hi, how are you?
my repetitive routine, the everlasting dream of finally meeting...
i long for Tryst, in the dark i hide, wating for someone to notice
but until then i walk with high hopes and run with some the less
this dream will soon end, tomorrow WILL come
and i'll wake up knowing, my search will never be done |
