» Poem: Sad Eyes
Sad Eyes

There's that girl
walking down the hall
that everyone sees
yet doesn't dare greet.

They all fear that girl
they don't know why
but something about her is wrong
most think that it is the eyes.

That girl sees the world
yet sees nothing around her
no matter what's happening here
she shows no knowledge of what is in front of those eyes.

Those eyes haunt her classmates
their color a pale, electrifying blue
and ice blue that show no emotion
the dead eyes that could stare you into insanity.

She stays away from people
they gladly stay away from her
those who dare try to talk with her
cower when they look into the dead blue eyes when she never answers.

No one knows what’s wrong with the girl
no matter what she looks like on the outside
if she's smiling, laughing, frowning, or just blank
her eyes hold nothing.

She has those dead eyes
the evil eyes
the eyes of a stranger in her own home
she has the eyes of ghost, trapped in a horrid nothingness.

Those eyes
blank eyes
frozen eyes
Sad eyes.
