» Poem: Joy of Dying
Joy of Dying
written by nicole_lyndon

You didn't intend to leave me,
I know you had to go
You didn't' intend to hurt me
Cause you loved me so.
Now you're free of pain and suffering
Free of dismay and distress
For me you wanted to bring
Only joy and happiness.
God took you from me
He wanted his angels with him
Now I can really see
Cause things are really still the same.
You're with me night and day
In my heart and soul
And I know what I would say
When I am gray and old.
Thank you for waiting for me
Thank you for always being there
Now we're together and free
Without sadness and despair.
