Closing the Blinds
written by tWiZtIdWiNgZ07:15 AM 2/26/05I sit back and watch my life fly by
Sometimes I sit and ask myself why
I put up with every day life
The day I answer back,
Is the day I know it's time to go.
The things you dont know
Are the things I never bothered to show
You dont know, you dont care
I'm just wasting your precious air.
What do you want me to do?
It wasnt my choice I'm here
You've pushed me into infinite fear
Scared of everything around me
Thinking simple things will drown me
Within the midst of my own home
Forever broken, forever alone.
I sit back and watch
As you run my life into the ground
I lie still
Not against my own will
I'm ready to go, I had no reason
No sense in me pleading
I knew my life was misleading.
I sit back and watch
As you drive the knife through and through
I glance up, managing to smile at you.
I'm closing the blinds,
Leaving everything behind.
I have no time,
To sit and wonder why.
My eyelids fall once more,
My skin ripped and torn.
You got what you wanted,
So dont cry.
Just know,
I also wanted to die. |
