» Poem: Hanging On
Hanging On
written by nicole_lyndon

Have you ever really thought
About our complicated life
A chill runs up and down my spine
Just thinking about our strife

Cars going up and down the road
People running here and there
Tractor trailors with their heavy load
Hauling who knows what and where

The news reports have all been bad
Seems good news is hard to find
Murder, wrecks, storms and fire
If you listen you will lose your mind

Ships and trains and airplanes
And everyday sue's
War and famine take their toll
Then theres everybodys views

Tornados and bombing it never ends
This world is in a mess
But tomorrow is a bright new day
I thank God, thank God I'm blessed
