» Poem: Too Blind To See
Too Blind To See
written by nicole_lyndon
08:53 AM 2/26/05
I sit at home, all alone
Waiting for you to call on the phone
But I have a feeling that I've waited too long
Because it finally hit me that something's wrong
I walk across the room and stare out the window
What is it about you that I can't let go?
I ask the question again and again
Then I realize that you just want to be friends
A sharp pain soon arises from my heart
Why did you have to throw the dart?
I really thought you were the one for me
Now I know, I was just too blind to see
