» Poem: Darkest night
Darkest night
written by The Black Halo
01:18 PM 2/26/05
Thy flowers drown in thy darkened tears,
And wilt in evil's shadow.
Rain falls down and soaks the ground,
Thy flowers never grow.

Thou stare with patience
At the mockery of thy religion,
God's light, it dimmed, thy soul, has sinned,
And thy demons laugh at thy vision.

The night looms ever darker,
And thy god has lost his will.
The devil talks to thee,
And teaches thou to kill.

God must watch thee,
Bound by silent chains.
He stares, in horror,
And feels so ashamed.

The darkness always conquers,
For shadows dwell in his light.
Thy demons promise power,
If thou joineth the darkest night.
