Lie To Me (comments)
written by DarkeningBeauty02:57 PM 2/26/05Sit me in front of the fire,
Look deep into my eyes,
Tell me a story or fairy tale,
With a shining star in the sky.
Tell me of prince charming, who slays the dragon,
A real dragon - my fear,
A princess locked in a tower with gleaming hair,
A princess I hate - jelousy
'Cause I can't bear reality.
Tell me of soliders fighting over one,
A beautiful girl - my fate.
Tell me of sailors caught up in storms,
Rescued by mermaids of course.
'Cause I can't bear this reality.
Tell me of happiness and fantasy,
A love that will always be true,
A romance kept and shunted away, oh,
But still struggles through.
'Cause I can't bear this fucking reality,
So please, please, please,
Lie to me,
Oh, lie to me,
Fucking lie to me,
Oh to me,
Lie to me... |

the poem was wonderful but if u could find one true friend that can put a spark in ur life u would need no other to to lie while u sit there in strife |

I feel the same way about reality and fantasy. I wish someone would just tell me a story, and take me to a different world. |
