"Why I Really Cry..."

Seeing my friends isn't worth life sometimes...
My real dad left when I was two...
My Step-dad used to hit me...
My current Step-dad wants a divorce...
Doesn't any Daddy love me?
My Mommy didn't want me...
She makes me feel so bad...
She wanted an abortion...
She wishes that she had.
I've been through so much pain...
Raped at young 13...
I was only in fifth grade...
When I wanted to give up everything.
I overdosed and didn't die...
I've done drugs and drank just to get by.
My few friends seem to cut themselves...
They ask me for advice...
I never know what to say...
And then I pay the price.
My sister is Alyssa...
She has some sort of disease...
Often times she gets sick...
Something I hate to see.
My other sister Madeline...
She is only 5...
Makes me want to stay here...
She makes me want to stay alive.
My Granny she is dying...
I just want her to be healthy...
She's the only stable thing...
She's always cared about me.
My best friend is in pieces...
I can't seem to help...
It makes me feel I'm failing...
Like I'm leaving her in hell.
My family is so broken...
My friends... They all are too...
Sometimes I just feel empty...
Like nothing will get me through. |
