» Poem: breathe on me
breathe on me
written by Treehugger
06:56 PM 2/26/05
as i fall from this building
made of sticks and stones
i crash to the earth and break all my bones
during flight my lungs collapse
and whatever air was there
has moved on
just like i should

i need to feel your warmth
the smoothness of your skin
the look in your eyes
your heart and soul within
please breathe on me before i die

this room is now empty
its where you used to rest
next to me, kissing my tender lips
all that is there is a ghost
that will never speak again

the look in your eyes
your heart and soul within
please breathe on me before i die
