I remember that smile,
So far from the truth,
I remember those eyes,
A tormented childhood,
I remember those scars,
The ones she was so proud of,
I remember her death,
So devastating,
I remember her words,
“Life’s just not worth living if you have no one to share your pain and happiness with”,
She ran home form school that day,
With the feelings of worthlessness bursting in and out of her head,
Trying to find something to grip on to,
Though everything was moving to fast,
She found her way to her door step as she shakily unlocked the door,
Finding the draw where the knives where kept,
Pulling one out and running it across her flesh,
A geometrical line of blood burst into the open,
A sharpen pain she has never felt before,
“What’s happening to me, what have I done,”
She gripped the cut with her hand,
Trying to stop the blood,
The blood still swept through the crakes in her fingers,
Falling on to the floor,
“I guess this is what I always wanted.”
Accepting the faith that she brought to herself,
Slowly the world faded to black,
As she was left dying alone,
Her last words where mumbled in a whisper,
“This time I cut to deep” |
