abyss of dreams

Ruled by mediocrity
Sending young men to early graves
From which they cannot be saved
From this I run away
Away from this place so dark and gray
And am confined to an abyss of dreams
It’s where my heart burst and screams
Cause the world doesn’t learn from past mistakes
And still puts many lives at stake
Its odds are running high
And the people no longer try
They are running to their ends
Blind as the world slowly bends
They rebuild fallen towers
Caused by men who run and cower
Silently watching fallen giants
And are confused by cold-blooded tyrants
Those power driven souls
Assigning faces to unknown foes
Dividing our generation
Without a fuckin explanation
These people don’t fuckin care
And this I can’t no longer bear
And so I’m drowning in an abyss of dreams
Where everything is not all that it seems |
