» Poem: Read Between the Lines
Read Between the Lines
written by wiltedrose
01:58 AM 2/27/05
Two souls stiched together from the start
But life came along and ripped them apart

The wounds are too deep, no thread to lend
I'm afraid they can't be sewn together again

How did a bond so powerful go to waste?
But these people broke it, filled with such haste

You shredded her innocence, messed with her mind
Ask if we were friends, you'd be surprised what you find

Time for me to leave behind what was mine
She was true friend, if you read between the lines

That poem was very well written and at the same time short, simple and straight to the point. Loved it
