Fake Smile
written by TAINTEDSOULisBACK04:21 AM 2/27/05I sit here and reassure you,
about something I wish wasn't true.
I sit here with my fake smile,
promising he really loves you.
I walk you through his moodiness,
and tell you there'll be better days.
I talk about his faithfulness,
and how from you he'd never stray.
I think of my situation,
and then I think of yours,
How I wish my insides,
didn't feel like they're at war.
How can I be so plastic?
I can smell the hipocrisy.
Because what I've hated for so long,
has turned out to totally describe... me. |
