confusion

to be confused
not knowing what to do
self mutilation
the only pain I can control
I'm not crazy
you just don't understand
what it's like to be me
go through my life
for just one day
you'll see
that there is much more to me
then these cuts and scars
my veins run deep with hatred
hatred towards you
hatred towards this world
hatred towards this life
I should learn to love
and stop this madness
but I can't
it's taking over
with each slice of the razor
each time I cut deeper
each time I become numb
numb to the pain
numb to the words
you try to force help
but it won't work
only I can stop this knife
and only when I want
will my insanity stop |
